How fortunate I am to have spent most of my life doing what I love---painting! I am fascinated, intrigued, and inspired by nature and feel privileged to interpret its endless beauty through my work.
Over the years, I have studied at the University of Delaware and Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, honing my skills with artists Domenic DeSephano, Tom Bostell, Henry Meier, Carolyn Anderson, Janet Hammond, Eo Omwake and Charles Reid. I have been most deeply influenced by Chadds Ford artist, Rea Redifer.
Throughout my career I have won awards in various shows, including the Zimmerman Award at the Philadelphia Watercolor Society. I was accepted into the Pastel Society of America's annual juried show in New York and received the Pastel Society of North Florida Award. In addition, I am a member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society. In 2007, my painting of "Valley Garden Park" won "Best of Show" at the Delaware Foundation for Visual Arts show at the Hagley Museum Soda House.
In October of 2016 I was accepted into the Philadelphia Watercolor Society's Annual show and won the Mary K. McGee Memorial Award for Excellence in Pastel.
My paintings are in many public and private collections throughout the United States and abroad (references available upon request).
My husband and I live in Wilmington, Delaware.
